Recently, the SCU BSB SPORT HALL in Semarang was abuzz with passion and cheers as Indonesia Lithium Energy’s 2nd Sports Day kicked off.  This event takes competitive sports such as tug-of-war and badminton as its carriers. It is not only a sincere tribute to Indonesia’s 80th Independence Anniversary, but also injects fresh momentum into the company’s pursuit of global development.

From Teamwork on the Field to Unity in Development
Early in the morning, employees gathered at the assembly point as scheduled. On their way to the venue, a sense of camaraderie already brought their hearts close together. Whether it was the hand-in-hand, shoulder-to-shoulder collaboration in the tug-of-war competition, or the seamless teamwork in badminton doubles, every moment showcased the invisible yet unbreakable unity of Lithium Energy.

From Competition on the Field to Breakthroughs at Work
The whistle blew, and the spirit of competition immediately took hold. In the tug-of-war competition, players rallied their strength with the chant of “One, Two! One, Two!”—a scene that mirrored the production team’s joint efforts to overcome technical bottlenecks. In badminton doubles, partners knew exactly how to cover for each other with just a glance, echoing the efficient collaboration between the R&D and production departments. Fun games like “prawn cracker eating race” and “marble picking with chopsticks” also demonstrated the team’s agility and adaptability in high-pressure work. The sweat shed on the field was simply another passion way to showcase the same dedication and perseverance they bring to their daily tasks.

From Medal Glory to Belief implementation
As a benchmark enterprise for China-Indonesia new energy cooperation, PT LBM Indonesia’s workforce comprises both technical experts from China and locally trained talents. Notably, the company has already built a “unity in diversity”” team culture through initiatives like the Eid al-Fitr staff meeting and cross-cultural training programs. The event has further strengthened employees’ recognition of identity as “ corporate citizens.”

From filling gaps in the industrial chain to boosting local employment, from technology export and cultural integration, LBM is taking concrete actions to fulfill its responsibilities under the Belt and Road Initiative. As fireworks lit up the Semarang sky to celebrate Indonesia’s 80th Independence Anniversary, the team in PT LBM Indonesia has transformed the unity forged on the sports field into new driving force, continuing to write a new chapter in China-Indonesia new energy cooperation.
