Good news recently came from LBM Indonesia. After months of structured training combining classroom learning and hands-on field practice, twelve Indonesian participants successfully passed the comprehensive assessment of the company's first frontline leadership development program. All graduates are now officially certified and ready to assume their roles. Several outstanding participants have even been promoted to acting shift leaders, marking the beginning of their journey toward independent managerial responsibilities. This achievement demonstrates the successful implementation of LBM's talent strategy—“strategic internationalization and localized operations”—and injects strong local momentum into the company’s overseas development.

Launched in January this year, the program centers on a master–apprentice training model. It establishes a structured learning process in which senior shift leaders provide mentorship and guidance, while participants gain managerial experience through independent field operations. From the symbolic mentor-apprentice ceremony to the stringent assessments, every step reflects LBM's firm commitment to cultivating local talent and offering Indonesian employees a clear, progressive career pathway.

During the program's closing session, LBM Indonesia General Manager Mr. Feng expressed strong appreciation for the results achieved and outlined higher expectations for future talent development. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the “local mentoring mechanism”, encouraging graduates to take on mentoring responsibilities and help train the next generation of shift leaders. He also highlighted the need to enhance documentation of achievements and reward mechanisms. All graduates are expected to summarize their learning outcomes and share management insights, while top-performing shift leaders will be included in the annual excellence selection program. Outstanding individuals may also receive opportunities to visit and train at LBM’s headquarters in China, allowing them to broaden their international perspective and further develop their professional capabilities.

Mr. Feng further stressed that each department should continue strengthening frontline leadership capabilities by providing regular training and sharing practical case studies, ensuring that the shift leader team grows into a professional, localized, and high-performing frontline management force.

Looking ahead, LBM will continue advancing its talent localization strategy overseas. The company is committed to building a more comprehensive talent development framework, offering richer learning resources, and cultivating even more outstanding Indonesian professionals. With strong foundations in localized operations, LBM aims to foster deeper integration between its overseas business and local communities, paving the way for mutually beneficial and sustainable growth.
