According to the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China and Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment (Decree No. 4 of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment), 25,000-tonne Lithium Iron Phosphate Positive Material Recycling and 50,000-tonne Iron Phosphate Precursor Project of Shandong Lithium Source Science and Technology Company Limited has completed the preparation work, and intends to submit the environmental impact statement to the competent department of ecology and environment. The situation is announced as follows:
I. Process, scope and content of public participation
The proposed project has carried out various forms of public participation in strict accordance with the requirements of Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment (Decree No. 4 of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment). A public notice of the draft for comments was made on the website of the People's Government of Jancheng County from 8 April to 21 April 2022, and two public notices of the draft for comments were made in Shandong Workers' Newspaper. The construction unit did not receive any feedback in writing or by phone during the publicity period.
II. Collection, collation and analysis of public opinions
In accordance with the ‘Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Protection’, the company has given the way to download the public opinion form, the way to download the public opinion form for environmental impact assessment of the construction project and the way to provide opinions on the website and newspaper, and the construction unit has not received any feedback information in writing and by phone during the publicity period. No objection was received. After this publicity, the public has environmental protection opinions on the proposed project, still can express their opinions to the construction unit through the following contact information.
