January
At the beginning of the new year, LBM received capital increase from CCB Investment, providing sufficient financial guarantee for the company's production capacity expansion and business development.
February
LBM and LG New Energy successfully signed a "Long-term Supply Agreement" and carried out strong cooperation. The total agreement amount exceeded RMB 7 billion, further consolidating LBM's leading position in the lithium iron phosphate cathode material industry.
March
The company has accelerated its overseas market expansion and set sail to sea with its "No. 1 Family" series of star products to appear at top overseas industry events, winning the attention of many prospective customers.
April
The fourth-generation high-voltage dense LFP products and the "Lithium Energy 1" series of products serving the high-end energy storage market have been officially launched, opening a new chapter in the industry's power batteries and high-end energy storage cathode materials.
May
The iterative update of "Lithium Iron 1" has achieved another breakthrough in low-temperature and fast charging performance; the innovative release of "Manganese Lithium 1" high-cycle version and long-life version LMFP products has reshaped the pattern of power battery cathode materials.
LBM received a capital increase of 285 million yuan from Kunlun Industry and Technology, helping the company's cathode material project develop in depth.

To meet the higher requirements of the power battery market, significantly upgrade the "Long Distance 1" product, eliminate iron phosphide, and provide customers around the world with diverse options.
Great Wall Strategic Consulting released the "GEI China Unicorn Enterprise List" and LBM was honored to be on the list.

The "Long Distance 1" product line has been expanded to release a polygonal soldier with cathode material that can simultaneously solve the three major pain points of long range, low temperature, and fast charging.
LBM innovates recycling technology and launches its "Recycling No. 1" product globally, providing innovative solutions for the efficient recycling of used lithium batteries.

At the 2024 Gaogong New Energy and New Materials Industry Conference, LBM won the honor of "2024 Lithium Battery Materials Innovation Enterprise" with its comprehensive strength in various aspects such as excellent technical strength, leading shipments and high customer satisfaction.
September
LBM has launched a diversified layout of new energy materials and released a sodium cathode material-"Sodium-ion Battery 1", covering two major technical routes: polyanionic compounds and layered transition metal oxides.
October
LBM(AP) held an investment signing ceremony with the Indonesian Investment Authority (INA) and received US$200 million in investment from Indonesian sovereign wealth funds and co-investors.
November
LBM won the "2024 Senior Engineering Golden Globe Award-Annual Value·Gaogong" award and the title of "2024 High-Quality Production Enterprise of Cathode Materials" by Mysteel, adding another brilliance to the development of the company.
December
LBM and LBM(AP) revised the "Long-term Supply Agreement" with LG New Energy to update the sales volume to 260,000 tons. The overall market value is close to RMB 10 billion, and they received the world's largest order for lithium iron phosphate this year.
