On February 2nd, the PT LBM Indonesia Phase II project, under LBM, grandly started construction in the Kendar Economic Zone of Semarang, Indonesia. Mr. Feng, the head of PT LBM Indonesia, key department leaders, and China Construction Industrial&Energy Engineering Group Co, The main members of the Ltd. project attended the groundbreaking ceremony and witnessed this historic moment together.
Before the official start of construction, PT LBM Indonesia's safety and comprehensive management department extensively promoted the safety management system and on-site management system to relevant teams, emphasizing the importance of safety in project progress.
The PT LBM Indonesia Phase II project holds a crucial position in LBM's globalization strategy and is another milestone in the company's overseas journey. Indonesia, with its unique lithium resource reserves and advantageous geographical location, has always been a key area for LBM's overseas layout. As early as 2021, LBM announced the establishment of a lithium iron phosphate production base in Indonesia, officially kicking off the construction of lithium iron phosphate factories overseas.
After unremitting efforts, the first phase of the 30000 ton lithium iron phosphate project was successfully completed and put into operation in 2024, and the first batch of products were successfully shipped in January 2025. The construction of the second phase 90000 ton production line project will undoubtedly further deepen LBM's integration and utilization of local resources, optimize the company's global production capacity layout, significantly enhance its product supply efficiency and competitiveness in the international market, and further consolidate LBM's leading position in the global new energy industry.
