On September 15, LBM (Asia Pacific) — a subsidiary of LBM NEW ENERGY (AP) PTE. LTD — officially signed a “Lithium Iron Phosphate Cathode Material Procurement Cooperation Agreement” with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL), the world's leading power battery manufacturer.

According to the agreement, LBM (Asia Pacific) and its wholly-owned or joint venture subsidiaries are expected to supply a total of 157,500 tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials meeting the agreed specifications to CATL's overseas factories between the second quarter of 2026 and 2031.

The demand volume will be dynamically adjusted in line with CATL's overseas project progress and forecast. The specific procurement amount and unit price will be implemented through subsequent framework, annual, or individual contracts jointly signed by both parties.

This cooperation represents another major milestone in Lopal's internationalization journey, signifying that the product quality and service capability of its overseas base have gained high recognition from a top global customer.

Looking ahead, LBM, backed by strong R&D and advanced manufacturing capabilities, will continue to accelerate its global capacity deployment and customer network expansion, building a future-oriented high-performance cathode material ecosystem and contributing “Chinese Material Strength” to the high-quality development of the global new energy industry.
